This article describes the user login setup and profile within Unity®
Welcome! This guide takes you through your first steps in Unity® - from receiving your welcome email to creating a secure password, setting up two-factor authentication, and confirming your account preferences—ensuring your account is secure, personalized, and ready for use.
First Login/Welcome to Unity Email
When your staff profile is created, you'll receive an email from Systems@dyedurham.com with an encrypted registration link—click it to open the Unity login page.
User Profile Setup
Once the login page opens, you’ll be guided through your profile setup:

Your email address pre-populates as your User ID, enter your account number and create, and confirm a secure password with the following requirements:
At least 8 characters
No spaces
One uppercase letter, one number, and one special character
Enter your Trusted Phone Number to enable Two-Factor Authentication, click Send Passcode, enter the one-time code sent by text and click Submit Passcode.
In the CASL settings window, choose whether to opt in or out of marketing emails, then click Next.
Review the Terms & Conditions, select Accept, and click Next to finish setup.
Tips:
Bookmark the Unity® login page.
Select the checkbox to remember your account number and User ID.
Save your password in your browser’s built-in password manager.
Select the checkbox to mark your device as trusted in a secure location.
