To add the vendor to your purchase matter:
-
From the Vendor and Solicitor tab, you can manually enter the details of the vendor in accordance with the Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
-
Clicking into the dynamic search bar will allow you to add a vendor. If you have acted for the vendor in the past, they will populate from your client database.
Otherwise, select Add New Record and continue to fill in the fields and Save.
-
If you are going to be acting on behalf of the vendor, you can click into Create New Client, and this individual will be added to your client contact database.
You can continue to add vendors in accordance with your Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
-
Once you know the Address for Service of the vendor, you will be able to engage with the dynamic search bars and bring in their address. This is a deep connection to the Canada Post system to allow you to locate the correct address. Doing so will also bring in the postal code.
-
Once you know which jurisdiction will be that they are signing their documents in, you can engage with the jurisdictional database. Start to type the jurisdiction, and a list of available jurisdictions will pop up.
-
Additionally, when the documents are going to be executed and you know the date, you can enter that information in.
