In this article, we go through how to run an Abutting Land Search.

To run an abutting land search:

1. Once you have ordered your primary parcel register (please refer to the Teranet Title Search: Ordering Parcel Register article), click on Add Order, and you have a 24-hour window in which to decide to order your PIN map with or without roads and railways. 

   

2. Make your selection accordingly, and your PIN map will open once you select Proceed. 

   

3. Ensure that you print the PIN map for your paper file, and now you can see all of your adjoining lands. 

   

4. View Adjacent Lands allows you to select the parcel registers that you would like to order and then select Order. 

   

   

5. As each of the adjoining lands becomes available, you will see in the background the PDF for each. 

   

6. And now that the abutting land search has been completed, you have access to each of the adjoining lands and all of the instruments within.

   

7. This functionality allows you, through the Actions button, to run an adjacent analysis to ensure the preservation of the Planning Act.
