In this article, we look at how to change the rights of a Class in Unity® Entity Management.

To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the profile of the entity whose class you wish to alter
2. Navigate to the Securities > Classes section down the left-hand side of the screen
3. Select the Class you wish to alter, and a pop-up will appear (Note: no changes can be made at this point)
4. At the bottom right-hand side of the pop-up, select Alter Class 
5. Select Change of rights
6. In the Special Rights and Restrictions window, complete the required fields:
   • Transaction Date
   • Type of Change
7. Complete any additional required fields that appear based on the rights or restrictions selected
8. Click Save
