In this article, we look at how to change the kind of class from par to non-par, or vice versa, in Unity® Entity Management.

To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the profile of the entity whose class you wish to alter
2. Navigate to the Securities > Classes section down the lefthand side of the screen
3. Select the Class you wish to alter and a pop up will appear (Note: no changes can be made at this point)
4. At the bottom right-hand side of the pop up, select Alter Class 
5. Select Change of Kind
6. Fill in the Transaction Date
7. Fill in the Par Value
8. Fill in the Currency if applicable
9. Click Save
