In this article, we look at how to update/correct Transfers.
Enhance securities management and accurately reflect changes in ownership with Transfer Transactions in Unity® Entity Management.
Transfer Transactions record the exchange of securities from one owner to another within an Entity. This helps ensure the Entity’s ownership records remain current and accurate.
Access the Transfer Transactions Section
- Navigate to the Entity that requires the change
- Click Securities
- Select Ownership from the dropdown
- Click the Transactions tab
Edit an Existing Transfer Transaction
- Select the existing Transfer Transaction from the list
- In the Transfer modal, locate the Total Amount Disposed* field and update the amount as needed
- Update any other relevant fields, such as Transaction Date*, Resolution Date, Price per share*, or Transfer Number
- Locate the corresponding field below Total Amount Disposed*, which reflects the number of units transferred
- Update this second field so it matches the revised total amount
- Click Update
A green banner will appear confirming that the transfer was saved successfully.
Note: Changes made in the Transactions section will automatically update the related certificates. |
