This explains how to generate Tasks and Documents in Unity® Entity Management.
Tasks can be viewed in the tasks window on the left. This is a global view of all of the tasks that are on the platform, whether they are new, pending, or completed.
You can filter tasks by status or the due date. You can see who the issuer and assignee are, and you can even group those tasks.

Creating a Task from Entities
Click Entities, and select Tasks
- Click New
- Enter the Memo Description
- Select the Due Date
- Click on the drop-down arrow, and select Task Type from the options listed
- Add Assignee
- Click Create
After selecting the Task Type, the menu will automatically update with tabs that need to be filled in with information to finalize your task and generate documents. |
You can set reminders for your tasks, by simply clicking on the bell icon. You can also set a task status by clicking on the drop-down arrow and select a status from the list.
Generating Documents
After you have completed your Task tabs with the necessary information, you can proceed to the Selected Templates tab to generate documents. To do this:
- Click Selected Templates
- Select the Document you require, and click Add
Click Save, and the Generate button will appear
Click on the X icon to remove the Document. |
- Click Generate, and select the following:
- The person certifying the form
- The contact information use
- Change in Primary Activity code of the description
- Change in the Official Email of the corporation
- Once done, click Merge
You will receive a pop-up notification in the platform indicating that the document is being generated
- You will find the documents in two places:
- In the Generated Templates tab
- In the Documents folder
Once the document is generated, you can:
- Click on it to view it
- Download as ZIP file
- Send it to DocuSign
