This article outlines the process for activating and licensing Unity® Accounting.
When you first download and install Unity® Accounting on your computer, you will have a complimentary 30-day trial period. As this period ends, you will need to purchase a license to continue using the software.
Unity® Accounting is licensed on a subscription basis. You must keep your subscription active to use the software. If you wish to deactivate the software, choose an option to deactivate the installed license in the Activation & Licensing screen under the Help menu.
If you stop paying your subscription, after 60 days, you will receive a warning message every time you reopen your Unity® Accounting. If your outstanding subscription balance remains unpaid after 90 days, you will not be able to use the software.
Unity Accounting is licensed based on the number of users you require. If your subscription includes 6 users, you will be able to add 6 user accounts, who can access the software simultaneously, and 6 lawyers/timekeepers who can be linked to a user account.
