This article details the updates and improvements to NoticeConnect in October 2025
NoticeConnect is redesigning its web application to improve user experience based on feedback we’ve received. We will be implementing these changes in 14 planned releases.
This is the fifth release.
On October 9, 2025 at 10 PM EDT, NoticeConnect released a UX update to the site with the following changes:
1. My Account – Added *NEW* Saved Contacts feature
If you’re always adding the same contact information on your Notice to Creditors, use this feature to checkout faster.
How to add a new contact
Method 1
From your account, click on “Contacts” on the left-hand menu.
Click on “Add New Contact.” Fill in the fields, then click Save.
- If you use the same Estate Trustee contact info on all your orders check the box for “Set as default contact for all Notice to Creditors and Will Search notices.” This will auto-populate the contact information for you on all your orders for an even breezier checkout.
- If you use more than one Estate Trustee contact info on your orders leave it unchecked and instead, add a new contact card for each of your Estate Trustee contacts.
Method 2
- During checkout, on the Forms step, enter the Name of the Estate Trustee and Contact Information, then click “Add to Saved Contacts”.
- To use a saved contact during Checkout, on the Forms page click on the dropdown for “Use saved contact” and select your saved contact.
- Their contact information will auto-populate.
2. My Account – Added *NEW* Custom Template feature
Add Custom Templates
- To add a custom template, click on “Templates” on the left-hand menu.
- The templates for a Notice to Creditors and Will Search Notice are shown with the default text.
- Click on the toggle for “Custom text”.
- Click into the template you want to edit
- Add your custom text and click Save. Your custom template will be applied to all your future orders.
Use your custom template during Checkout
- During checkout, on the Review step, if you have a custom template saved it will appear for your draft notice.
- If you want to return to the default text, click “Edit”, then select the toggle for “Default text” and click "Save"
During checkout, on the Review step, if you are using a custom template, do not edit the fields for "Estate Trustee Name" and "Contact Information" for the Notice to Creditors. The latest data for these fields will not be updated after clicking "Save."
Workaround: If the issue persists, click the "Edit" button again so that the fields load with the most recent data. This is the edited data which will appear on your published Notice to Creditors. This bug will be fixed in the next release. |
3. Notice to Creditors – Enhanced “Location” field
During checkout, on the Forms step, you are required to enter the “Lived In” location field.
Editing a Location
- Select the location from the dropdown results. You can edit it as long as you have fields for City, Province, and Country.
- You can edit the location above to remove “Grand Island” from it:
Adding Additional Locations
- You can add up to 2 additional locations associated with the deceased by clicking on the “Additional Location” button:
4. Public Notices – Added *NEW* filters to view only your notices
The Public Notices page displays all public notices by default. If you're logged in, you can filter the page to view only your Notices to Creditors or Will Search Notices.
- Click on the “View By” dropdown on the right-hand side and select your filter:
5. Enhanced Login page
Added ability to show/hide password
Display password requirements to create an account
This is the sixth release.
On October 16, 2025 at 10 PM EDT, NoticeConnect released a UX update to the site with the following changes:
Change Details:
1. Products page
Updated product cards with product description
We’ve updated the product cards to include a description of each product:
Added *NEW* filter to Favourite products (logged in users only)
We’ve added new feature for logged in users to mark their “Favourite” products, making checkout faster. If you always order the same products, you can mark them with the “star”. Then use the “Show Favorites” button – your favourite products will appear at the top of the page.
To use this feature:
- Log into your account.
- Go to the Products page.
- Mark your favourite products by clicking the star icon on the product card:
Your favourite products will be saved to your account.
- Click the “Show Favorites” button on the top right. The page will only display products you’ve marked as a favourite.
- Click the “Show All Products” button to return to viewing all available products.
Added ability to resume a draft order
If you have a draft order saved to your account, click the “Resume Draft” button on the Products page to continue it.
A pop-up box will show all your saved drafts. Click on the “three dots” icon in the Action column to select the draft you want to continue and click “Resume.” You can then proceed with this order.
You can only delete a draft from the “Order History” section of your account. |
