This article details the updates and improvements to NoticeConnect in September 2025
NoticeConnect is redesigning its web application to improve user experience based on feedback. We will be implementing these changes in staged releases.
In September 2025 NoticeConnect released a UX update to the site with the following changes:
Notice to Creditors – Added new form fields for Alternate names
We’ve added new form fields for:
- Alternate First Name;
- Alternate Last Name; and
- Company Name
The older form field for "Alias" has been replaced by the 3 fields above. |

Checkout – Updated Review step
1 - Reviewing multiple products
If you’ve added more than one product to your cart, on the Review step, you’ll see a draft of each product in an expanded accordion view.
You must click on “Next” to review the next draft product.
- Continue clicking “Next” until you’ve reviewed all the products in your cart.
- If you want to see a draft you’ve already reviewed, click on the “down arrow” on the right-hand side of the accordion to expand the dropdown screen with your draft to review.
2 -Added Confirmation message with required “Agree & Continue” button
After reviewing your last (or only) draft product, you’ll see a “Confirmation” message at the bottom of the screen (scroll down if you have to):
You must click on the "Agree & Continue" button to proceed to the Payment step.

3 - Save as Draft” button is below the Confirmation message
When logged into your account, the "Save as Draft" button is below the Confirmation message.
- If you click on it, your order will be saved as a draft and you’ll see it at the top of your Order History table:
Checkout – Updated Payment step
1 - *NEW* Added ability to copy up to 2 other people on Confirmation emails
- You can now add up to 2 additional email addresses to copy on your emailed receipt and any attachments included in your order.
- This may be useful if you want your accounting department or client to receive a receipt and copy of your order.
- If you always want the same email address(es) copied on your orders, go to My Account > Payments
- Scroll down to the “Invoices and Attachments” section.
Add the email address(es) you want copied and click Save.
- Now, whenever you checkout, on the Payment step, your saved copied email addresses will appear in the fields for “Copy Confirmation Emails To.”
2 - Added dropdown to use saved card
If you’re a logged in user, you can select a saved card for payment (i.e., saved in My Account > Payments section).
- If you’re a law firm, you’ll also see dropdown selections for payment by cheque/EFT (Note: These payment options are not available to Individual type users).
3 - Added required “Name on card” field to pay by credit card
- If you’re paying by credit card, you must enter credit card number, expiry date, CVC, and Name on Card.
- We’ve added an optional field for the Nickname of a card (e.g., John’s card) if you want to save it to your My Account > Payments section.
4 - Added Save as Draft button
If you’re not ready enter your payment info, click the “Save Drafts & Close” button to save the draft order to your account and continue it later.
5 - Added Order Summary section
- Review the items in your cart in the Order Summary section
- Click “Confirm and Pay”. If paying by credit card, your card will be charged once you click it.
Checkout – Updated Complete step
After clicking “Confirm & Pay” on the previous step, your order will be processed and you’ll be emailed your receipt/invoice and any attachments included in your order (e.g., links to your published notices, your Will Search Certificate, etc.).
1 - Added links to view published notices
- Now, you can click on the links to your published notice(s) on the Order Complete page:
2 - Added "Download Attachments" button
- If you click on Download Attachments, you’ll download your receipt and all the attachments included in your order in one zipped file.
- These are the same attachments which are automatically emailed to you after placing your order.
- Check the Downloads folder on your computer for your downloaded attachments.
3 - Added "View Order Details" button
- For logged in users, if you click “View Order Details” you’ll be brought to the Order Details page of your account:
