Review or monitor changes made in entities.
There are three areas in which users can view changes made within Unity Entity Management:
Items 1 and 2 are found within an entity record. The third is found under Reports in the main menu on the left.
- General Tab > Audit Trail
- Governance > History Tab
- Reports
Item 1:
- To begin lets take a look at the audit trail and history section for a specific entity.
- Open the entity record,
- Under Audit Trail we can see everything that has occurred such as issuance, transaction changes and as you hover over you will see more details. We can also search in the upper right if you are looking for a specific action or change that has occurred within this entity.
Item 2:
- Within Governance, History, we can see all formal changes such as the original incorporation or EP Registrations, Amalgamations etc.
Item 3:
To see changes that have occurred across all entities, you can use the Reports section to create a Custom Report: Start by selecting Tasks from the tabs at the top
Go to Edit Columns
In the next view, click on Tasks on the left and check off the boxes on the right for the information to be generated into the custom report
Apply the Changes
You may choose to save the report to run again, perhaps monthly, annually. It can also be locked down so other users do not make changes.
