This article provides steps on how to create an organizational address within Unity® Entity Management
LAW FIRM
If your law firm's address is the Registered Office of an entity, the address needs to be entered as a Shared Address within that entity record.
- Add the responsible lawyer under the People Profile
- Under the People Profile > Associations
- Click on New > Responsible and Select the Role from the drop-down list of Law Clerk/ Lawyer/ Paralegal
AGENT
To create an organizational address, navigate to the People section of the application, and search for the person record where the address is to be created. Click on Addresses > + New > Shared and scroll through the four sections to create the address.
- Select Shared
- The PROFILE TYPE is set to Entity.
- Click on the + Add Profile box to select the entity and add Notes if needed.
- The Address for the Entity will populate in the Addresses section.
- If an entity has multiple addresses, another one can be selected by clicking the + Add Address button.
- If you click on the New button, you can create a new address if needed.
- Roles - click on Add type.
- Add the Organization Role as Employer or Organization by clicking the drop-down menu and selecting the most relevant Role. For an Agent, select Organization if required.
- You can add a Custom Title if needed
Once everything is confirmed accurate, click the blue Create button at the bottom right-hand corner of the box.
