In this article, we learn how to correct a Certificate Code.

Below are the steps required to correct a Certificate Code successfully:

1. Navigate to the profile of the entity where a certificate number correction is needed

2. Navigate to the Securities > Ownership > Certificates tab

3. Select the certificate record to be updated

4. On the new modal that pops up, click on Details on the left

5. In the Certificate Code field, clear out the certificate code and replace it with the correct number

6. Modify the Sort Order and Ledger if necessary

7. Click on Update
