This article covers how to refine Entity search results in Unity® Entity Management using filters.
From this article, you’ll learn how to create, save, use, clear, and delete filters, helping you quickly locate records based on criteria such as Status, Jurisdiction, Formation Dates, and more.
A. Create and Save a Filter
- Go to Entities from the main menu
- Select Filter at the top-center part of the screen to open filtering options
- Choose your desired filter criteria from the available options
- Select Apply
- Review the results to confirm the filter is working as expected
Note: Some filter options may appear greyed out until selected. |
To save a filter for future use:
- Open Filter again
- Click + Save filter on the right-hand side
- Enter a name for the filter
- Click Save
B. Use a Saved Filter
- Click the Select a filter to load dropdown (top center)
- Review the list of saved filters
- Select a filter
The filter will apply automatically.
C. Clear an Applied Filter
You can clear filters in two ways:
Option 1: Click the red X next to the Filter button.
Take note that this clears the filter from the current results only, and it does not delete the saved filter.
Option 2: Select Filter to reopen the menu, then choose Clear all filters (bottom left).
D. Delete a Saved Filter
- Click the Select a filter to load dropdown
- Click Filter to open filter options
- Select Delete filter (next to Clear all filters)
This will permanently delete the saved filter.
Efficiency and filters go hand-in-hand!
