How to audit your entity data or perform a company review (attestation)
There are two ways that this can be done:
- Within the overview page – instead of generating a Corporate Summary, generate an Entity Data Attestation.
- Within the Annual Compliance Task
To generate the Entity Data Attestation:
- In the overview page, click to Generate Summary but search instead for Entity Data Attestation. Merge and view within the document folder once generated.
- You can review the document once it has been merged into the Documents folder by clicking on it to open it.
- You will see that the entity data is included along with a signature section and Consent to file. The signature block may be switched to a responsible professional. The consent is confirming that everything on the page is correct.
- This can then be sent out for signature with Unity Sign (at no cost) or DocuSign. (The DocuSign integration is available at an additional annual cost). Within the Documents folder in the entity, click the box to the left of the document, click in the menu at the top and click on Sign with DocuSign. Log into your DocuSign account and send for signature. Once signed, you will see a Completed button show under the Status Column.
