Canadian Financial Profile by Estatesearch
NoticeConnect has partnered with Estatesearch and we now offer a Canada Asset and Debt Search for estates.
When you order the Canadian Financial Profile it:
- Contacts all significant financial institutions to notify them of the duly appointed legal representative.

Requests information on dormant or active accounts that belonged to the deceased. You’ll receive an Initial report after 24 hours and a Final report after 30 days.
How to place your order:
- Add the Financial Profile to your cart, click Next.

Fill in the Forms. You are required to attach PDF documents for each of the following:
- Evidence of Death (e.g., a death certificate)
- Your Authority to Act (e.g., grant of probate, or copy of will naming you as the Executor)
- Letter of Authority – a letter that grants authority to Estatesearch to act on your behalf when requesting information from financial institutions (download the template from the site and upload your signed PDF copy).
- Signed Client Engagement Letter – this is only required if your Authority to Act is on behalf of someone else (e.g., on behalf of the Executor, Next of Kin, or Estate Administrator). It is not required if your firm is the Executor.
- Click Next.
- Review the order, click Agree & Continue.
- Complete your payment information. Payment is by credit card only.
- Click Confirm and Pay.
- View the Order Confirmation screen. Your receipt will be emailed to you.
- You’ll get an email notification within 24 hours to view your Initial report from your account. After 30 days, you’ll receive an email notification to check the Final Report in your account.

- View the Order Confirmation screen. Your receipt and a copy of the Accounting Retainer Agreement will be immediately emailed to you. You will then be emailed in 1-2 business days by Cooper Estate & Trust Services, who will fulfil your order directly.
